Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated 23 October 2026 · Operated by Dr.incity Healthtech Solutions LLP (“Dr.incity”, “we”, “us”)

This page lists everything the Dr.incity website keeps on your device, why, and for how long. Most of it is needed for the service to work and is always on. The one optional item, website analytics, stays off unless you allow it.

What this policy covers

It covers the Dr.incity website at drincity.com, including the patient booking pages. “Cookies” here means small files a website stores in your browser and also similar browser storage (local storage and session storage).

The Dr.incity mobile app does not use cookies and has no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools. What the app and the website collect about you is described in the Privacy Policy.

Always on: needed to run the service

These are required for something you asked for: signing in, paying, sending a form. There is no switch for them. You can still block them in your browser, but sign-in, payment and the clinic registration form will then not work.

  • sb-…-auth-token (may appear as several numbered parts)

Keeps you signed in as a patient, doctor, reception user or admin. Set only when you sign in.

Set by Dr.incity, on our own domain · Lasts until you sign out, up to 400 days

  • drincity.cookieConsent.v1 (local storage)

Remembers your answer on this page so we do not ask on every visit.

Set by Dr.incity · Lasts until you change it or clear site data

  • drincity.clinicApplication.draft.v1 and drincity.clinicApplication.hours.v1 (session storage)

Keeps a half-filled clinic registration form if you reload the page. Removed when you submit.

Set by Dr.incity · Lasts until you close the tab

  • Small display flags (local and session storage)

Remember that you dismissed the app-install prompt or already saw the intro animation, and recover the page after an update.

Set by Dr.incity · Lasts until you clear site data or close the tab

  • Payment cookies on cashfree.com

Set while you pay online, to complete the payment and prevent fraud. We never see your card, bank or UPI details.

Set by Cashfree Payments, our payment processor · Lasts as set by Cashfree; see its cookie policy

  • Google reCAPTCHA cookies

Tells people from automated bots so the form is not flooded with spam.

Set by Google, only on the clinic registration form · Lasts as set by Google; see its privacy policy

Optional: analytics

If you allow it, we use Google Analytics (GA4), a service of Google, to count visits and see which pages people use, so we can fix what is confusing. It never loads until you click “Allow analytics”.

  • _ga

Tells one visitor from another using a random identifier.

Set by Google Analytics, on our domain · Lasts 2 years

  • _ga_… (one per Analytics property)

Keeps track of your current visit.

Set by Google Analytics, on our domain · Lasts 2 years

With analytics on, Google receives the pages you view, roughly where you are (city level) and your browser and device type. Google may process this on servers outside India. We do not give Google your name, phone number, email or any booking detail. Analytics does not run on the doctor, reception or admin screens at all.

Your choices

The cookie notice appears on your first visit. You can change your answer whenever you like, and turning analytics off is as easy as turning it on:

  • “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page opens the same notice.
  • Choosing “Essential only” stops Google Analytics straight away and removes the analytics cookies it already set.
  • Your browser can also block or delete cookies for any site. Doing so for the always-on items above may stop sign-in, payment or forms from working.
  • If we ever add another optional category or a new analytics provider, we will ask you again before it runs. An old answer does not carry over.

What we never do

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not sell your data.
  • Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off in our Analytics setup.
  • No social-media tracking pixels.
  • No analytics on pages used by clinic staff and doctors.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, we will update the version and date above. Questions or complaints about cookies go to our Grievance Officer, Sajid Shaikh, admin@drincity.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
